It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Vartouhi (Rose) on June 3, 2026.
Rose was truly larger than life. Her vibrant personality, boundless energy, and infectious laughter could brighten any room and lift the spirits of everyone around her. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel instantly welcomed, valued, and loved, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.
Known for her generous heart and selfless nature, Rose gave her love freely and unconditionally. She was always there for family, friends, and anyone in need, offering comfort, encouragement, and kindness without hesitation. Her warmth, compassion, and genuine care for others were among her greatest gifts.
Rose's joyful spirit and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be remembered forever. While her loss leaves an immeasurable void, the countless memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Rose will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her children Jirayr (Annie), Daniel (Nancy), Peter (Karyma) and her grandchildren Alexandre (Meghety), Marc-Andrew, Natasha, Tatiana, Julien, Matthew. She also leaves behind a large and loving extended family and many dear friends.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support received during this difficult time.
A visitation will take place on Monday June 8th, 2026 from 5 to 9 PM at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Home, 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent, QC H4N 2K7.
The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday June 9, 2026 at 11 AM at Église Armenienne Sourp Hagop, 3401 Olivar-Asselin, Montreal, QC, Canada, H4J 1L5. This will be followed by the burial at Jardin Urgel Bourgie Montréal, located at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent, QC H4N 2K7.
