It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Amal Tawfic Ibrahim, who passed away in Montreal on May 30, 2026, following a very courageous & fierce fight with cancer. She was a loving and beloved mother, wife, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, and aunt.

She leaves to mourn her husband Victor Abdu, her daughter Thamar Abdu, her brothers Fayez Ibrahim (wife Karen), Ibrahim Ibrahim (wife Salma), Atif Ibrahim (wife Ieman), Saffa Ibrahim, her sister Nadia Khalil (husband Nadir), eight nieces (Lydia, Rebecca, Hanna, Joanna, Sara, Faten, Sarah, Maha), one nephew (Fadi), many cousins (Adil, Nancy, Magdi, Sami, Ragaa, Naeem, & others) as well as other relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by her presence.

Amal will be remembered for her many outstanding qualities. She touched the lives of countless people through her wisdom, mild spirit, nurturing nature, compassion, constant sincere smiles, and remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved.

While we deeply mourn her loss, we also celebrate the many beautiful memories she leaves behind. Her love, guidance, courage, faith, and endurance will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her loyalty and devotion to Jehovah God remained steadfast throughout her life until her last breath. Her example of faith, kindness, and endurance leaves a lasting legacy for all who knew her.

Amal will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her precious family, dear friends, and spiritual brothers and sisters around the world. Above all, she will remain forever remembered by God, whom she loved and served faithfully.

The family will receive condolences on June 6, 2026, at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 3955 Côte-de-Liesse Road, Saint-Laurent, Quebec, H4N 2K7 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A memorial talk will be held at the same location at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will follow at Jardin Urgel Bourgie Laval located at 2500 des Perron Avenue, Laval, Quebec, H7J 1G5
