It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Laurice Hallag Massabni, who died on February 3, 2026, in Montreal, at the age of 97.

Beloved wife of the late Georges Massabni (1997),
Mother of Gabriel Massabni and Samir Massabni.

She is survived by her sons Gabriel Massabni and Samir Massabni, her daughters-in-law Ginette Saint-Roch and Caroline Savic, and her granddaughters Marie-Laure Massabni (Guillaume Verreault), Tina Massabni (Michael Faccone), Tanya Massabni (Eric Lapierre), and Jena Massabni (Duy Nguyen).

She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren William and Laurent Verreault, Liana and Luca Faccone, and Maya Lapierre.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by many relatives and friends in Canada and abroad.

The family will receive condolences on March 2, 2026, at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 3955 Côte-de-Liesse Road, Montreal, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A religious service will be held on March 3, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., at Saint George Orthodox Church, located at 575 Jean-Talon Street East, Montreal.

Interment will follow at Jardin Urgel Bourgie Montreal.

The family sincerely thanks all those who will share in their grief through their presence, thoughts, or prayers.
