With great sadness, we announce the passing of Mr. Giuseppe Sorgiovanni on January 17, 2026, at the age of 90, in Montreal.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Clara Larizza, and his children Assunta (Luciano), Nazzareno, Teresa (Joe), Salvatore (Lina), his grandchildren Clarissa (Kyle), Jessica (Jordan), Nicolas (Sara), Joey (Victoria) and Renzo, his cherished loving great grandchild Luca, his sister Maria Palma (late Oreste) his brothers Cosimo (Lina) and Bruno (Sarina), nieces, nephews and many others relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 23, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 24, starting at 9 a.m. at the Urgel Bourgie funeral home, 6700 Beaubien East, Montreal, 514-735-2025. The religious ceremony will follow at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, at the chapel of the complex, followed by interment at the Repos St-François d'Assise cemetery.

Con grande tristezza annunciamo la scomparsa del signor Giuseppe Sorgiovanni, avvenuta il 17 gennaio 2026 all'età di 90 anni a Montreal.

Lascia la sua devota e amorevole moglie, la signora Clara Larizza, i figli Assunta (Luciano), Nazzareno, Teresa (Joe), Salvatore (Lina), i nipoti Clarissa (Kyle), Jessica (Jordan), Nicolas (Sara), Joey (Victoria) e Renzo, il suo amato e adorato pronipote Luca, sua sorella Maria Palma (defunto Oreste), i suoi fratelli Cosimo (Lina) e Bruno (Sarina),

nipoti, pronipoti e molti altri parenti e amici.

La famiglia riceverà le condoglianze venerdì 23 gennaio dalle 17:00 alle 21:00 e sabato 24 gennaio a partire dalle 9:00 presso l'agenzia funebre Urgel Bourgie, 6700 Beaubien East, Montreal, 514-735-2025. La cerimonia religiosa seguirà alle 10:30 di sabato 24 gennaio nella cappella del complesso, seguita dalla sepoltura al cimitero Repos St-François d'Assise.
