It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Ernest També, who died peacefully on January 7, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Son of the late Fathallah També and the late Hilda Aristaghes. He leaves to mourn his wife Danielle-Marie Talamas as well as his children: Hilda, Frédéric/Fathallah Ernest (Sonia Azeri) and his grandson Raphaël, Myriam (Charles Abiad) and her granddaughter Émilie as well as Krystel and Chloé.

He is survived by his brother Antoine També (Odile Jeanbart) and his nieces: Joëlle També (Souheil Tahan) and their children Adrien and Hélèna; Danièle També (Razek Srour) and their children Noah, Célia and Luka; Maya També (Akram Srour) and their daughters Léa and Inès.

He joins his late sisters Marguerite També and Rose També (late Paolo La Valle Reale). He leaves to mourn his niece Paola La Valle Reale (Rami Samir Yassa) and their daughter Rose, and his nephew Bruno La Valle Reale (Nivine Adel Fahim) and their daughter Angelina.

Ernest També will be missed by many cousins, relatives and friends in Canada, Lebanon and several other countries.

The family will receive your condolences on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie funeral complex located at1255 Beaumont Ave, Mount Royal .

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at the Melkite Cathedral of Saint-Sauveur , 10025 Boulevard de l'Acadie, Montreal . Interment will follow at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, 4601 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal .

AFEL provides, among other services, academic catch-up classes, speech and psychomotor therapy for children with learning difficulties, vocational training workshops for adolescents, summer camps, family support, as well as emergency food and medical assistance to cope with the current economic crisis in Lebanon.
