It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chrysoula Sopassi, on November 9, 2025, in Montreal at the age of 95.

Wife of the late Nikolaos Plaitis, she leaves to mourn her children Emmanuel (Nathalie), Aspasia (Dimitri) and Pelagia (Emmanuel), her grandchildren Theo (Marinela), Nick, Maria, Krissi (Noah), Billy, Maxime, Michael and Lea. She also leaves behind her brothers and her sister, her many nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie Athos, located at 1255 Avenue Beaumont, Mont-Royal, Qc H3P 0A1.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Archangel’s Greek Orthodox Church, located at 11801 Av. Élie-Blanchard, Montreal, Qc H4J 1R7.

The burial will follow the service at 1:45 p.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery, located at 4601 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, Qc H3V 1E7.
