It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janine Saad (born Abiad), who left us peacefully on November 7, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She now joins her late husband, Antoine Saad. 

Janine will be dearly missed by her daughters Chantal (Camille), Rita, Nadine (Patricia), and Layla.

Tati  also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Monica (Zied), Alexandre (Manuela), Dahlia (Pershea), Felix, and Oliver, as well as her great-grandchildren Rafael, Gabriel, Aliya, and Ariana, and her brother Toto Abiad (Sharon).

Janine will be remembered with love by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends in Canada and around the world.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1255 Beaumont Ave., Mount Royal.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint John the Apostle Convent and Parish, 12450 Gascon Street, Pierrefonds, followed by interment at Saint-Laurent Cemetery.

The family would like to thank her caregivers (Ana, Amanda, Olga) as well as the staff at Sunrise for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation for the repose of her soul to Saint John the Apostle Convent would be appreciated.
