It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Madeleine Buchou Damblant, who passed away on September 23, 2025, in Montreal, at the age of 94.

Born in Bizanos, France, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Auguste Buchou and the late Mrs. Lucie Alliez.

Wife of the late Mr. Raymond Damblant, she is survived by her daughter Catherine (André-Jacques), and predeceased by her son Bruno. She also leaves behind her granddaughter Magali (Dimitrios), her great-grandchildren Adriana, Rafael, and Gabriella, her three sisters Arlette, Georgette, and Christiane, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mado was an extraordinary person who brightened people’s hearts with her smile and her good spirit. Her warm presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family will receive condolences on October 25, 2025, at the Urgel Bourgie Complex, located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue in Montreal, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
