We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gennaro Vitiello, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Born in 1938, Gennaro lived a full and meaningful life, guided by his devotion to family and his passion for cooking. Known as an excellent Chef, his talent in the kitchen was more than a profession, it was an expression of his love for those around him.

Gennaro was the loving husband of the late Lina Vitiello (née Commodari), with whom he shared a lifetime of devotion. He now joins her in eternal rest, reunited once more. He will be forever remembered by his devoted children, Alfidio (and his wife, Nancy) and Rina (and her husband, Siro); his cherished grandchildren, Cassandra, Sabrina, Matthew, and Michael; and his adored great-grandchild, Evelyn.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing at Urgel Bourgie, 6700 Beaubien East, on Saturday, September 6th, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A Mass to celebrate Gennaro’s life will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 1:30 PM.

As we gather to honour Gennaro’s memory, we remember him as a loving husband and a man whose warmth and dedication to his family will remain an everlasting legacy. His spirit lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
