It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Joanne Moore on August 15 2025 in Montreal, Quebec.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Geddes Ward, mother Persis Noel, son Gershom Moore, her five grandchildren; Raven Keishawn, Kiara, Airee, Kimanni and one great granddaughter, Avayah.  Cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and uncles and countless lifelong friends.

She is survived by her beloved six sisters and four brothers.

Our beloved Joanne carried herself with grace and an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.  She gave endlessly of herself to those in need inspiring all who knew her.  Her presence was a gift, her love a constant and her memory will forever be embedded in our hearts.

Funeral service; August 24th 2025 at 11:00 am at LaSalle New Life SDA Church, at 7780 Blvd Champlain, LaSalle, Quebec.

Committal; August 26th 2025 at 11:00 am at 8145, Chemin Chambly St-Hubert, Quebec.

Our family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, attendants and volunteers at Saint-Mary’s Hospital palliative care unit and Joanne’s Church family for their prayers and support.
