Maria De Santis
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maria De Santis, on July 28, 2025, in Montreal, at the age of 63.
Beloved wife of Matteo Russo she leaves behind her loving children Stephen Nicholas (Amanda), Philip Anthony (Alicia), Thomas Matthew (Panagiota) and her cherished grandchildren Ava Gray, Alea Nora, Leo Arlo, Emilio Matteo, and Cassia Rose. She is also survived by her brothers Felice (Chantal), Giuseppe (Teresa) and her brother-in-law Nick (Linda), father-in-law Nicola (Giovanna), her nephews and nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 6700 Beaubien Street East, Montreal, H1M 3E3.
A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Maria Ausiliatrice Church, located at 8550 Av. Joliot-Curie, Montreal, QC H1E 4C3, followed by the interment at Repos Saint-François d’Assise cemetery.
