It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donato Pennimpede on July 28, 2025. Donato lived a full life, defined by warmth, laughter, and a deep love for those around him.

He was a cherished father to Joe (Mary), Gina (Eddy), and Dino, and a proud and loving Nonno to his grandchildren Lucas (Rukiye), David, and Celia. Known for his lively nature, Donato brought smiles to friends and strangers alike. His kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

 Donato enjoyed having friends and family in his home and no celebration was complete without his beloved accordion.

 He also found great peace in his gardens, where he spent countless hours tending to the land with care and pride. A generous man in every sense, Donato gave freely of his time, his laughter, and his heart.
He now rejoins his beloved wife Gerarda, and while his absence leaves a profound void, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed.

The Family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie/Athos Funeral Complex,

located at 6700 Beaubien east, Montreal, on Sunday August 3th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

and  from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and as of 10h30 am on Monday August 4th.

Funeral service will be held on Monday August 4th at 11:30 AM at the chapel of the funeral complex

Interment will take place the same day at 1:00 PM at Le Repos St François d'Assise.
