Julien Balit
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julien Balit, on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, his 82nd birthday.
Mr. J. was the founder and patriarch of Christina Swimwear. His entrepreneurial spirit attracted his three children Christine, Larry and Bob to share in his vision as well as his brothers and nephews. All those who knew him in Montreal and Sarasota were frequently entertained with his amusing stories and anecdotes. A lover of nature and the outdoors, Mr. J. enjoyed fishing, skiing and golfing. His passion for golf was surpassed only by his love for his grandchildren Julia, Gabrielle and Zachary. Sadly mourned by Gisèle Boisvert, he will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. We love you Pa. May you rest in peace.
The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie
