It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Sabatino Bisante, who passed away on July 8, 2025, in Laval, at the age of 93.

A late starter to the sport, you could often find Sabatino playing a round of golf with his wife Dora. An equally enthusiastic bowler, he was a familiar face with his bowling leagues. Beyond the fairways and lanes, he was a skilled handyman, always ready to lend a helping hand. An active member of his beloved Mingano di Monte Lungo association, you could have seen him at every occasion greeting and dancing with everyone or dressed as your favourite Santa.

Sabatino is mourned by his loving wife Dora of 71 years. Their four daughters; Elisa, Connie (Andrew), Joanne (Antonio) and Anita (Alan). Nonno will be missed by his 11 grandchildren: Alexandre (Roxanne), Andrew (Gabriela), Kristina (Simon), Christian (Hillary), Cassidy, Nicole, Alexia (Cillian), Olivia, Sean (Gaby), Patrick and Savannah. He will also be deeply missed by his great grandchildren; Sam-Luca, Julianne, Max, Zoe and Eva.

The family will receive condolences on July 16, 2025, at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mount Royal, H3P 2H2, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A religious service will be held on July 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Notre-Dame-de-la-Défense Church, 6800 Henri-Julien Avenue, Montreal, H2S 2V4.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the MCSA, McGill University Research Center for Studies in Aging.
