It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Borni, who left us on June 7, 2025, peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones.

An exceptional mother who loved life and spread happiness and good cheer wherever she went.

Marie is mourned by her daughter Carole Hajj and her son Joseph Hajj, as well as her late son Roland.

Téta will be dearly missed by her granddaughters: Chloé Majdalany (David Antoine), Christelle Majdalany (Alexandre Lepage Lanoue), and Noémie Majdalany.

Marie will be reunited with her late brothers Dawoud and Tony Borni, and her late sister Georgette Borni. She will be remembered fondly by their respective families.

She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends in Canada and Lebanon.

The families Hajj, Borni, Majdalany, Delyani, Zein, Doumit, Antoun, Abdel Sater, Awkar, and Nanichian will all pray in her memory.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, located at 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mount Royal, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 12 at 10:00 AM at Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, located at 10025 Acadie Boulevard, Montreal. Burial will follow at Urgel Bourgie Cemetery, 3955 Côte de Liesse Road, Saint-Laurent.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Saint-Sauveur Cathedral would be appreciated.
