It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Deborah Petraroia, who left us too soon on May 20th, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 38.

Beloved daughter to Rosetta Carone and late Vitaliano Petraroia. She is survived by her devoted husband Eric Paternostro and her cherished children Ella-Rose and Dante Vito.

She will be forever missed by her siblings: Jonathan (wife Karina), Gemma (husband Giancarlo) and Roberto (fiancé Rebecca) and Nonna Carmela Guererra. Also survived by her nephews Jay Vito and Juliano Vito, her uncles and aunts: Stephen, Carmi, Frank and Rita, father-in-law Rodolfo Paternostro and mother-in-law Domenica Arvonio, brother-in-law Micheal Paternostro (wife Nehal).
 

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, May 28th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday, May 29th, day of the funeral service, as of 9:30. at Urgel Bourgie Athos/ Complexe St-François d’Assise 6700, rue Beaubien est, Montréal, H1M 1B2.

Funeral service will be held at Mont Carmel Church located at 7645 Rue du Mans, St. Léonard, QC H1S 2A1, Thursday, May 29th at 12:00 then to Le Repos St-François d’Assise cemetry for the burial at 2 p.m.

Our Deborah held  roles to many people, but the one that everyone can recognize is the role of a true inspiration.

In lieu of flowers, donations for future projects in Deborah’s honour would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Her smile, generosity, and the love she shared with those around her will remain forever engraved in our hearts.

May her soul rest in peace.
