It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Michael William Popowich on May 16th, 2025, at the age of 67. He was the beloved son of the late Frances Astles and the late William Popowich.

Michael was the cherished brother of the late Joyce Irene (the late Robert), and is survived by his loving siblings Barbara Ann (Raymond) and David Patrick (Jagmohini Nan). He will be deeply missed by his adored nieces and nephew—Samantha, Neala, and Shaan—as well as by extended family members, friends, and caregivers.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 8145 Chemin de Chambly, Saint-Hubert. A commemorative ceremony will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral complex.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Special Olympics Canada.
