Edgar Lewis Lockhart, also known as Frankie, passed away on May 8th, 2025 at the age of 78.

He was predeceased by his son, Dave Lockhart, brothers, Gladstone "Lucky", Eustace, Ralph and Noel Samuel.

Born on May 15th, 1946 in St. John’s, the capital of the Caribbean island nation of Antigua and Barbuda, to his parents Sydney Samuel and Virginia Lockhart; he immigrated to Canada in 1972. Being a retired journeyman welder and plumber, his hobbies included DJing (Dynamics, formerly Antigua Disco Sounds), building furniture, playing dominoes & cards, cooking west indian dishes and baking bread.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Bernard-Lockhart, his children, Valerie (Anthony) Lockhart, Alvin (Cathy) Lockhart, Joann Morris, Shaun (Jennyfer) Lockhart, stepsons, Conroy Legair and Ricardo Norville, stepdaughter, Nydia Norville, his grandchildren, Vaughn Corbett, Junior Corbett, Brittany Bluteau-Lockhart, Romello Lockhart, Jasmyne Bluteau, Azya Lockhart, Jahvonny Lockhart, Aviana Lockhart and Elijah Dave Lockhart, great grandson Givenchy Dave Lockhart, stepgrandaughter Zandy Norville, godson Richard Griffith, goddaughter Kiana Gauthier Boyce, sister, Gloria (Francis) Samuel-Severin, brothers, Vernon Samuel and Gladstone Gunn, sisters-in-law, Marie Ambrose, Mary Charles, Susanne Lerick and Marlene John, brothers-in-law, Jerome, Norage and Kenricks Bernard; as well as many relatives and friends both at home and abroad (Antigua & Barbuda, U.S.A.), including the family of the late Lorna Edwards-Lockhart, Joan Legair & family, Yoneko Riley-Barrow & family and Benjamin Daniel & family.
