1937 - 2025

With heavy hearts, the family announces the peaceful passing of Fortunato Calicchia on March 28, 2025 at the age of 87.

He was a devoted husband to Giovanna Cocco and a cherished father to his late son, Domenico (Vanna). He was a proud grandfather to Stephanie (Rudy) and Justin (Vanessa) and a loving great-grandfather to Paolo. His deep devotion to God and commitment to his family guided him through both joyous and challenging times. His strength, kindness, and love left a memorable mark on all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and community.

A private family service will be held in his honor.

The funeral mass will take place on April 4 at 1:30 p.m. at Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel (7645, rue du Mans Montréal, Quebec H1S 2A1) followed by the burial at Repos St-François d'Assise cemetery – La Paix Mausoleum (6893 Sherbrooke St E, Montreal, Quebec H1N 1C7).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be warmly welcomed.
