It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amelia Rinaldi Polletta at the age of 87, on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Michelina Polletta. Amelia will be deeply missed by her adored  husband, Elio, to whom she was married for 70 wonderful years on February 28, 2025. 

She leaves to mourn her cherished and loving daughter, Anna Maria (Sergio). Amelia will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Vanessa (Peter) and Jennifer, and her great-grandchildren, Christopher and Lucas. She will also be greatly missed ny her devoted siblings, Victoria and Pasquale (Michelina), as well as her beloved nieces, nephews, family, and all those fortunate enough to have known her. May she find the peace she so greatly deserved and may her memory live on in our hearts forever.

The family would like to express their heartful gratitude to the entire staff of the Jewish General Hospital, including Dr.Mamane, the palliative care team on Pavillon K, 6th floor, and the emergency staff.

Condolences will be received on March 26th from 4 pm to 9 pm at Urgel Bourgie, 6700 Beaubien Est. Funeral services will take place at Paroisse Saint-Léonard, 5525 Jarry E, on March 27th at 10 am, to follow the hears you may join the family at Urgel Bourgie 9am, followed by the burial at Cimetière de Laval.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to the Canadian Alzheimer Society and Jewish General Hospital.
