ROBAYO, WILLIAM JOSEPH (BILL), born March 31, 1952 passed away of natural causes at home on January 9, 2025.

The son of immigrants from Ecuador, he grew up in Town of Mount Royal and attended local schools before obtaining his B.A. from Loyola College. As an avid reader and news enthusiast, he was an animated conversationalist and raconteur who possessed a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humour. He applied his language skills in translation work and enjoyed travels across South America and Europe, along with many visits to extended family in Los Angeles.

He is pre-deceased by his father Dr. Luis Robayo and his mother Mercedes (née Aguirre) and survived by his brother Louis and nieces Sarah and Kate. The family appreciates any remembrances which friends and family wish to share about Bill.
