On Saturday, September 2, 2006 after a brief illiness, at the age of seventy-eight years. Predeceased by his wife Gertrude (Richefort), Jimmy leaves to mourn his loving partner Ghislaine (Gigi) Matte, his children Jamie, Dana(Domenico Maffei) and Paula. Grandchildren Cassandra, Alexa and Kaithlyn. He is survived by his sisters Diana, Kritioos, Jenny Bouris and Stella Carras, and will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends to whose lives he bought much love and laughter.
