Jean Peters (née Peters)
A native of Fredericton, New Brunswick, who moved to Montreal in the 1940s, died on July 31, 2009, at Verdun General Hospital after a massive stroke. She was eighty-three years old.
Over the last year she had been living in LaSalle in a property her sons had inherited from their late photographer father, Desmond Rupert Adams, from whom she was divorced. She is survived by her sons David Adams, of Montreal and Rodney Adams a.k.a. Sur Rodney Sur, of New York; and her god child Caroline Main, of Windsor, Ontario.
In lieu of a memorial, the sons request that donations be made in her name to The Union United Church, 3007 Delisle Street, Montreal, QC H4C 1M8.
