Pierrette Roy
In Montreal, on February 13, 2009, at the age of seventy-seven, Ms. Pierrette Roy, retired nurse from the Albert-Prévost Institute, passed away.
She leaves to mourn her brother Richard and his wife Patricia Reilly, her sister-in-law Noëlla Hébert (wife of the late Jean-Pierre Roy), her nephews and nieces, as well as very close friends (Monique and Pierre Brunel, Joanne and David Tighe and Geneviève Boutry) who accompanied her throughout her illness. The choir members of the church of the Annunciation of our Lady, Town of Mount Royal, have also lost a precious voice. We also wish to extend our warm thanks to the staff of the Balfour M. Mount Palliative Care Unit of the Montreal General Hospital.
Her funeral will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10 A.M. in the chapel of the Saint-Albert-le-Grand monastery, 2715, chemin de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montreal.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Cancer Institute or to a charitable organization of your choice would be appreciated.
