Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2008, at the age of 85. Survived by his loving wife Mariette Racicot. He leave also to mourn his brother-in-law Jean-Maurice Racicot (Martine), his nephews and nieces Jean-François Racicot (Amanda), Simon-Pierre Racicot (Chantal), Anne Swales (David), Pamela McNaught (Charles), Sheila Robertson (Donald) and his grand and great-grand nephews and nieces and many friends.

A gathering will take place at a later date.
