Peacefully passed away on June 16, 2008 at Lasalle General Hospital.
Loving husband to Marlene Myles for 47 years. Adored uncle to Colleen. Deeply missed by brother Bert (Deceased) wife Mildred, twin sister Cathie and sister-in-law Gail (Jim).He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Mike Cher for his care and devotion throughout John's illness. John spent 42 years at CN, and spent his retirement years donating his time and tireless energy to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212- Lasalle.
A Legion Service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 2 pm, followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 3 pm. A celebration of his life will take place at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 212. In lieu of flowers Donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
