Vere Rowe
Vere Rowe passed away peacefully June 2, 2022 at the CHSLD-La Prairie, Palliative Care Unit.
He was born November 25, 1936 on the beautiful island of Barbados to parents of Ursula Worrell and Athelstan Rowe. Over the years, Vere actively participated in many organizations such as Negro Community Center (NCC) and Barbados House. He has been a longstanding and very involved member of Union United Church in Montreal.
Vere is survived by his beloved wife Jeanne Blackman of 59 years, his daughter Kim (Jimmie), son Craig and grandchildren Andrew and Jaelyn.
Due to Covid, the funeral service will be private.
