In loving memory of Therese Aboumerhy (Azakie)
Therese Aboumerhy, beloved wife of the late Joseph Assad Azakie (1994), cherished mother of Joseph (Marie), Nicholas, Anthony (Emily), Ronald and Andrea( Samuel); grandmother to Amanda, Michael, Paul, William, Anastasia, Chris and Sasha; passed to her place in heaven on June 7th 2022 in Montreal, Quebec Canada.
She is survived by her sisters Souad, Wadad and Nouhad , her sisters- in-law Selma and Francine, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, The United States and the Middle East.
Therese leaves behind beloved close friends who are like family. She made friends wherever she went and kept them for life.
To everyone that passed through her home for one hour or a lifetime they were enveloped with love, laughter and more love.
She was born in Damour, Lebanon and emigrated to Canada in 1955 at the age of 17.
A treasured mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
She will forever be missed.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to her care giver Laurene Amar.
The family will receive family and friends for visitation at Urgel Bourgie 1255 Beaumont avenue in TMR, on Thursday June 9th 2022 from 5 to 9pm and from 8h30am on Friday. Funeral to take place at St-Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church 80 de Castelneau East St.in Montreal at 10am.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made to St.Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church
