Suzanne Mary Howick Batrie

Passed away November 30, 2021 with her family at her side. She was our brave heroine who beat all the odds in her fight with cancer until the very end. She was at peace ending a very wonderful life.

Wife of and best friend of Raymond Batrie for 54 years and mother of their children Stephen (Julie Pagé) and Jennifer (Zachari Tourlas) and grandchildren Zoe and Max, the loves of her life and special little friend Émile Robidoux

Daughter of the late Najla and Wilfrid Howick.

Dearly loved by her late brother John (Lillian) and Andrew (Genevieve), Peter (Amy) and her many nieces and nephews and friends. Special love to her niece Jayne

Proud of the love she shared with her sister-in-law Susan Nakash and the late Norman (Vicki), Roger, Polly and Pat Batrie

Suzie trained at McGill as a physiotherapist serving in different capacities in hospitals and health associations. Then devoted her life to her beloved family and many friends as well as her many volunteer endeavours in her community, church and wider interests. She was considered a good friend to so many people in all walks of life.

Special thanks to Dr. Ragu Rajan and pivot nurse Linda Gould for their incredible care and devotion. The family is also very grateful for the long standing relationship with family friend, Dr. Roger Tabah.

Gifts in her memory may be made to Mount Royal United Church, Cedars Cancer Foundation (Wilfrid Howick Humanitarian Fund) or the Cedars Home for the Elderly Foundation

Visitations at Urgel Bourgie, 1255 Beaumont, Mount Royal, Qc. on Dec. 3, 2-5p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

Due to the pandemic restrictions a private funeral will be held.
