It is with heavy hearts that the family of Antonio Carmosino announce his passing on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Lucia Cernini, cherished father of Maria (Ugo) and devoted grandfather of Vanessa & Marc Anthony. He was predeceased by his parents Felice & Concetta, his brothers Giovanni, Nicola & Benito, and his nephew Felice. Antonio will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his brothers Amodeo (Rosaria) and Michele (Giuseppina), his sisters Luisa (Ildo) and Giulietta, and his adored nieces and nephews.

Antonio was born in Ururi, Molise, Italy. In 1960 he emigrated to Canada to join his large family and start a new life with his love Lucia. He will be remembered by family and friends as a devoted, hard-working man whose joys came from the love of family. He was a humble gentleman who had a philosophical approach to life. He left us with a greater understanding of life through the wisdom he passed on to us. Antonio leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him.

The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie/Athos, 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mont Royal on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Eglise Saint-Joseph-de-Bordeaux, 1650 rue Viel in Nouveaux Bordeaux. Followed by a burial at Notre-Dame-des Neiges Cemetery.
