It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppina Alfano Terrasi on June 11th, 2026. She was the beloved spouse of the late Giuseppe Terrasi.

She leaves to mourn her children Giovanna (late Pasquale), Vincenza (Stefano), Antonino, and Elisabetta (Marino), as well as her grandchildren Angela (Joseph), Angelo (Patricia), Giuseppina (Jason), Giuseppe (Marylyne), Giovanna, Giuseppina, Giuseppe-Anthony, and the late Giovanni. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Louka, Samuel, Giuliana, Adamo, Adriana, Elysia, and Mariana.

She is survived by her brothers and sister, the late Giuseppe (Maria), Carmela (late Domenico), and late Liborio (Antoinetta), her in-laws Emanuel (Carmela), Cristoforo (Pina), Giovanni (Angela), and Nino (Gloria), along with many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie funeral complex, located at 6700 Beaubien East, on Monday, June 15th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will also take place the following morning, Tuesday, June 16th, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A ceremony will be held at 10:30 AM, followed by the burial at the Repos Saint-François d’Assise cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Neurological Institute for ALS would be greatly appreciated.
