With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Nana, Nada Ilišević Vidanović a deeply loved wife to Sava (deceased), daughter to Dušan Ilišević (deceased) and Maria Elizabeta Ilišević (born Selinger, deceased), mother to only daughter Suzana Bubić, mother-in-law to Zoran Bubić, grandmother to Milan Bubić and Natalie Bubić, grandmother-in-law to Christine Picone, great-grandmother to Emma Bubić & Lea Bubić, sister to Steva Ilišević, Ljubica Gavranović (born Ilišević, deceased) and Dragan Ilišević (deceased).She touched countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for those around her.
She was the kind of person who wore her heart on her sleeve — always caring deeply, always ready with comforting words, a warm smile, or a helping hand. Her family was the center of her world, and she found great joy in spending time with the people she loved most. Whether gathered around the kitchen table sharing stories, enjoying a hot cup of coffee, or laughing over a spirited game of cards, she created memories that will be cherished forever.
Her strength, guidance, and unconditional love were a constant source of comfort and inspiration. She celebrated her family’s joys, stood beside them through life’s challenges, and created a foundation of love that will continue for generations.
She had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome. Her home was often filled with the comforting smells of her cooking, the sound of laughter, and the warmth of togetherness. She expressed her love through the meals she prepared, the conversations she shared, and the quiet acts of kindness that defined her life.
As a grandmother and great-grandmother, she was a source of wisdom, strength, and unconditional love. Her guidance, gentle spirit, and endless devotion shaped generations of her family, who will carry her love with them always.
As a sister and friend, she was loyal, compassionate, and endlessly thoughtful — someone people could always count on.
As a mother, she was loving, devoted, and selfless. She gave endlessly of herself to ensure her only child Suzana always felt supported, cared for, and deeply loved.
Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her generous soul, her caring nature, her love of family traditions, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
The family will receive condolences on June 13, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and a funeral service will be held the same day in the complex chapel from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Urgel Bourgie Athos, located at 8145 Ch. de Chambly, Saint-Hubert.
