It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Marguerite Wilson Smith, who passed away in Montreal on May 21, 2026, at the golden age of 96. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many.

She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Smith. She leaves to continue her legacy: Sandra Wilson (sister); her children, Graham, Brenda, Kimberly, and Shaunda, and their significant others; twelve grandchildren, Eric, Jari, Amali, Beatrice, Zachary, Todd, Terrell, Vanessa, Kelsey, Jodi, Autumn, and Skylar; and eight great-grandchildren, Shai, Tyler, Tayah, Remi, Kyrie, Memphis, Casady, Amara, and Mia. As well as other relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by her presence.

She will be remembered for her welcoming spirit, nurturing nature, heart of gold, and her ability to make everyone feel at home.

The family finds comfort in knowing her spectacular legacy will be met at the gates of heaven with open angel wings.

The family will receive condolences on June 6, 2026, at Urgel Bourgie, located at 1275 Dollard Ave., LaSalle, QC, H8N 2J1, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
