It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Evangelia (Eva) Dimas on January 24, 2026 at the age of 57.

Born on August 9, 1968, in Montreal, Eva was predeceased by her parents, Alexandros Dimas and Athanasia-Soula Karafotis, as well as, her brother Constantine Dimas. 

She leaves behind to mourn her sister Maria Dimas, her sister-in-law Spiridoula Papadatos, her cherished niece Alexia Dimas, as well as, extended family and dear friends.

Eva will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and deep love for her family.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint George’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 2455 Chem. de la Côte-Sainte-Catherine, Montréal, QC H3T 1A8.

The burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, located at 4601 Côte-des-Neiges Road, Montréal, QC H3V 1E7.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of “Evangelia Dimas” may be made to the Segal Cancer Centre at the Jewish General Hospital.
