It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Ivan Kreslin on November 8th at the age of 81. Ivan lived a life devoted to his family and his Catholic faith and is survived by his beloved wife Teresa, cherished daughter Carolina, his loving sons Mario and Ivan as well as his grandchildren Cristina, Robert, Alex and Catherine and his great grandchild Theodore.

Ivan was born in Slovenia the youngest of 12 during World War 2. In 1968 the family of 4 at the time emigrated to Montreal, Canada in hopes of providing his family a better life. Ivan soon afterwards began working in what was to become his lifelong career as a butcher. In 1986 Ivan, Teresa and Carolina moved to Mississauga and spent 23 year before returning to Montreal for his remaining years.

We find comfort in the belief that he is now with his Lord and Savior, and we rejoice in the promise of eternal life he so dearly believed in.

Visitation will take place at Urgel Bourgie/Athos, 6700 rue Beaubien E, Montreal, H1M 1B2 on Thursday, November 13th between the hours of 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Friday November 14th at Saint-Vladimir church 3470 St-Joseph East Blvd. Montréal, H1X 1W6.
