It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. José Armindo Linhares, who passed away on August 1st, 2025, at the age of 71.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elena Zapata, his children Jinny Marie, Alexis (Rob), Sophia (Dan), and Emanuel, and his grandchildren Raphael and Cleo.

He also leaves behind his siblings: Conceição (the late Luis Alberto), João Manuel (Maria de Jesus), Olívia (Antonio Luís), the late Maria Dos Anjos (Alberto), Margarida (the late Jorge), and Antero (Teresa), as well as many nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Jardin Urgel Bourgie – Saint-Hubert, located at 8145 Chemin de Chambly, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, August 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by the chapel ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place immediately after the ceremony.
