It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Murray on July 8, 2025 at the age of 73 .

Harold Murray was survived by his wife and children , grandchildren and great grandchildren 
his beautiful mother  Precilla Smart and his brothers and sisters along with nieces and nephews , great nieces and great nephews , cousins and many other relatives and friends.

Harold was the beloved husband of Lena Murray, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship. Together, they raised a beautiful family, and Harold took immense pride in being a father to his children : Shawn Murray, Mervin Murray, Marissa Murray, Rena Murray, Rosalee Murray, and Shayne Murray.

He was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him endless happiness and laughter. 

He had a deep love for music, which filled his home and heart throughout his life. Those who knew him will remember him not only for his kind heart and steady strength, but also for the way he lit up when surrounded by his family, often with music playing in the background.

Harold Murray was a good man and quietly wise. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be sadly missed.

The family will receive condolences at the Urgel Bourgie / Athos Funeral Home, located at 1275 Dollard Avenue, Lasalle, on July 30, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel of the complex on July 31, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
