In Loving Memory of Marcy Arsenault

April 8, 1947 – July 6, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marcy Arsenault, who left us peacefully on July 6, 2025, in Mont-Laurier, Quebec, at the age of 78.

Born on April 8, 1947, to the late Marcel and Rita Arsenault, Marcy lived a full and generous life. He was a man of warmth, humour, and deep generosity—known for opening both his heart and his home to everyone he met. A true people person, Marcy had the rare gift of being able to strike up a conversation with anyone, no matter their background or walk of life.

He is survived by his loving wife Mona, his sons Michael and Martin (with his wife Fredeline), and his beloved grandchildren Alishah, Shamar, Keyshana, and Sharissa. He also leaves behind his brothers Earl and Leo, along with extended family and many dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Marcy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He was an avid pool player, loved birdwatching, found peace in fishing, and had a lifelong fascination with astronomy. Whether gazing at the stars or enjoying a conversation at the kitchen table, he brought light, curiosity, and warmth to every moment.

A celebration of Marcy’s life will be held on 

Sunday, July 13, 2025, between 

1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Urgel Bourgie / Saint-Laurent Funeral Complex,

3955 Côte-de-Liesse Rd., Saint-Laurent, QC.

Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honour the life of a man who made everyone feel like they belonged. He was a light in every room, and a friend to all.
