With heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Kim Sharon Ashton on May 22, 2025, at the age of 67. She leaves behind her adoring son Jared, her devoted partner Osmond, and her loving brother Stuart (Serina). Also leaving her brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her dearly loved sister Camille (Raymond) and brother Carey (Sharon), mother Beverley and father Malcolm. 

Kim had a rare and beautiful spirit — intelligent, kind-hearted, easy-going, and always ready to share a laugh or brighten someone’s day. She found joy in the simple things: baking and cooking for the people she loved, filling her home with warmth and the smell of something delicious. Music moved her, and she cherished quiet moments, like playing Scrabble with her sister or soaking in the beauty of a sunny day.

If you were fortunate enough to know Kim, chances are you carry cherished memories of her — moments filled with laughter, comfort, and love that now feel even more precious. Kim’s absence leaves a silent ache, but Heaven now shines brighter with her light.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support. The details about her celebration of life have yet to be finalized. Once they are, the information will be shared here. All friends and family will be welcome.
