It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Afroditi Tzanetakou on March 31, 2025, at the age of 93. A woman of exceptional generosity and kindness, she devoted her life to her family and those around her.

She now joins her beloved husband, George Stathopoulos

(1932-2021)

She leaves behind her cherished children Nicholas, Aspasia Stacy (Peter) Ilias, and Panagiota (Peter) Vamianakis, as well as her adored grandchildren Spiro, George, Serena, and Emmanuel. She will also be dearly missed by her sister Kakia, her brother Christos (Voula) and many relatives and friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and giving spirit.

The family will receive condolences at Urgel Bourgie on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 4 PM to 9 PM at 1255 Beaumont, TMR.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 AM at Koimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 7700 Av. de l’Épée, Montreal, QC.

Following the service, her interment will take place at 3955 Chemin de la Côte-de-Liesse, Saint-Laurent, QC, H4N 2N6.

She will be forever remembered with love and admiration.
