Passed away September 21, 2009 at the age of eighty.

Survived by his wife Maria Longo Anania, he will be sadly missed by his children Teresa and Marziale, his sister Annunziata Esposito and brothers Saverio Anania (Teresa Feudale) and Alberto Anania (Anna Maria Colaboni), his brothers-in-law Vincenzo Longo (Caterina Papaleo) and Aldo Longo (Olga Lacroce), his nephews and nieces as well as many other relatives and friends.
