Au Foyer St-Brigid’s Home, le 25 mai 2009, à l’âge de 91 ans, est décédée dame Lillian Owens Langlois, vétéran de la Guerre 39-45. Elle était la fille de feu John Owens et de feu Jessy Pascal. Elle demeurait à Québec.
Elle laisse dans le deuil, ses enfants : Pauline (Robert Janody), Suzanne (Raafat Morcos), Pierre (Gail Rousseau), Louis (Pui Man Shek) et Claire (Jean-Louis Paré); ses petits-enfants : Mathew, Rebecca, Angèle, Philippe, Patrick, Anne, Ellen, Aurélie, Frederik; son frère et ses sœurs : Charles (Hazel), Mary Wyckoff, Rose Farewell (Al) et James (Joyce); sa belle-sœur : Dora Owens; ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, parents et ami(e)s. Elle va rejoindre son frère, William (Bill), et ses sœurs, Annabelle et Esther.

On May 25, 2009, Lillian Augusta Owens Langlois long time resident of Sainte-Foy passed away at the age of 91 at St-Brigid’s Home in Quebec City. As a young woman she joined the Canadian Army overseas as a nurse. She was a veteran of WWII. She was a beautiful human being that dedicated her life to her family. She was a loving mother of : Pauline (Robert Janody), Suzanne (Raafat Morcos), Pierre (Gail Rousseau), Louis (Pui Man Shek) and Claire (Jean-Louis Paré); her nine grandchildren : Patrick, Anne, Ellen, Angèle, Philippe, Rébecca, Mathew, Aurélie and Frederik; her sisters Rose Farewell (Al) and Mary Wyckoff; her brothers Charles (Hazel) and James (Joyce); her sister in-law Dora Owens as well as many nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father and brother William(Bill) and sisters Annabelle and Esther. The family would like to thank the warm and dedicated personnel of St-Brigid’s Home where she received love and attention.
