Ronald Joseph Martin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron on Tuesday, August 7th, 2012. Ron's zest for life, his enthusiasm and sense of humour was truly infectious. His kindness and captivating charm touched all who crossed his path. Ron lived a long, happy and fulfilled life, and will be forever remembered by his family and many good friends.

Ron will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Grace of 57 years, his children Austin Cawlishaw (Alex), Holly (Bill), Ted (Liz), Carolyn (Eric) and Steve. His 10 grandchildren Melanie, James, Ryan, Arielle, Sydnee, Benjamin, Jade , Brooke, Julia and Trevor and his first great-grandson Carter will miss him dearly and cherish the years of joyful memories.

He was honoured to serve his country, Canada in WWII. Ron was also a proud employee of Bell Canada for 45 years and was awarded Special Recognition for saving a man's life.

We wish to extend special consideration to the kind staff at the Ste Anne de Bellevue Veterans Hospital-3B.
